SAPST supports parliaments in crafting laws that address climate change, ensuring sustainable policies that protect the environment and promote resilience to climate challenges.
Stepping Stones International and SAPST are working together to promote good governance in Botswana by strengthening CSOs' capacity to engage with policymakers and parliaments. The aim is to increase CSO participation in parliamentary processes and enhance the understanding of decision-makers to create a conducive environment for working with CSOs
SAPST is promoting CSO and children's engagement with parliaments in East and Southern Africa to influence child-friendly policies. This project provides technical support and is part of the mid-term evaluation of the Global CSO Strengthening Program, focusing on progress assessment and building upon lessons learned.
The Southern African Parliamentary Support Trust (SAPST) has been implementing parliamentary strengthening programmes since it's inception in 2007.
