2020 Mid Year Budget Review

On Thursday 16 July, 2020, Finance and Economic Development Minister Prof Mthuli Ncube presented the 2020 Mid Year Budget Review statement to Parliament. This is in accordance to Section Section 7 (2) (a) of the Public Finance Management Act which requires the Minister responsible for Finance to ensure that “full and transparent accounts are from time to time and not less than annually made to Parliament indicating the current and projected State of the Economy, the public resources of Zimbabwe and the Fiscal Policy of the Government.”

The Review provides details on economic developments during the first
half of the year, progress on implementation of the 2020 National Budget
and also makes proposals for re-alignment of macro-economic and fiscal
policies to the Transitional Stabilisation Programme objectives.
